Are you fond of strong Indian food Indian Naan Bread are the most common to eat with it. Here’s our recipe.

Ingredients Indian Naan Bread

500 gram all purpose flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
2-4 tsp Cumin (all according to taste)
1 egg, beaten
2 dl plain yogurt
2 dl milk
3 tsp butter, melted

Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, Cumin and salt together in a bowl.  Stir in egg, yogurt and 2 tablespoons of the butter. Gradually stir in enough milk to make a soft dough. Cover with a damp cloth and place in a warm place for 2 hours.

Preheat oven to maximum and use a pizza stone/steel if you have.  Knead dough on a floured surface for 2 or 3 minutes until smooth. Divide into 5-6 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball then into ovals about inches long. Brush the top with butter. Bake 6 to 10 minutes until puffy and golden brown. Enjoy it with Indian hot food.
