Mascota vineyards

Mascota Vineyards located in southern Mendoza, Argentina, has been acclaimed Argentine Wine Producer in 2014.

It is a medium-sized winery with a production of quarter-of-a-milion cases. The winemaking philosophy differs from those in the region.

Mascato’s wines are succulent, and easy to enjoy, without excessively high alcohol levels. The portfolio consists of five product lines – Big Bat, Opi, La Moscato, Gran Mascota and Unanime.

Recently, Mascota’s winemaker was in Toronto to show off his wines, some of which have been released by the L C B O. (Two in the general list category and one in Vintages).

The first wine of the tasting was a Chardonnay 2015 with apple/pear aromas, fine balance, medium body, and appealing mouth feel. An excellent everyday drinking wine.
