Professor B’s February 7 Vintages Release Recommendations

The third release of 2015 offers a little more than 100 wines.

Italy is represented with a relatively large selection, albeit the wines originate in the southern provinces, mainly Puglia, and Calabria with a token sample from Campania.

Surprisingly, there is no Sicilian wine where viti- and vinicultures have improved the most.

There are a little less than 10 Ontario wines in this release, yet only two of them were presented for wine writers to taste, despite the fact that all of the wines are produced no more than 150 kilometres away.

There are some fine wines, but most in this release carry relatively low price tags.
