Professor B’s July 25 Vintages Release Recommendations

Vintages Release Recommendations
Vintages Release Recommendations

Once again, Vintages management decided to feature a huge release with well over 114 wines including a few roses for the forecast warm weather in august and September.
Only 108 wines were available for wine writers to taste.

The 2004 Limited Edition Dom Perignon at $ 245.95 was not made available for us to taste.
A few sparkling wines, two Scotch whiskies, one tawny port, a new twist on bitter but sweetened Fernet Branca Menta (mint) were also offered.

There are a few in-store discovery wines that wine enthusiasts should seek out in stores.
Italy and Greece are the two countries that are mini-featured. Those who look for diversity and new taste sensations should try at least one, and preferably two Greek wines to discover value.

Tuscany is now producing more and more cabernet sauvignon, which would have been anathema 15 years ago.
Happy hunting!
