Professor B’s March 15 2014 vintages Release Recommendations

wine

Once again Vintages management offers a fine selection of wines, some of which represent good value, and others that seem, at least to me, are overpriced.

Napa Valley’s extraordinary red wines featured represent an opportunity to stock up on ultra premium quality bottles, but I think some of them are overpriced.

Sparkling wine

Grand Millesime Brut, 2006, Baron Fuente, Champagne, France
Pale golden colour. Medium-bodied, with a fine acid backbone. Smells of apples and limes. Finely balanced. Enjoy as an aperitif, or with cream-sauced Dover sole fillets, or sautéed scampi.
