We have visited Randers Regnskov (Rain forest) in Denmark. Randers Regnskov is a tropical zoo and its goal is to make your visit unforgettable. As guest here, you walk the areas that are inhabited by the animals, while also experiencing the hot and humid climate that the majority of the animals and plants thrive in. One moment the animals will hide behind branches and rocks, only to get so close the next moment that you will be able to spot the dirt on a monkey’s fingernails or feel the rush of air from the wings of a bird.
The temperature in the domes is between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius all year round, and the atmospheric humidity is close to 100%, so dress lightly.
This is a map to find Randers in Denmark.
This is the front side of the building.
There is a lot of snakes and reptiles in the zoo.
This is a very lazy animal.
There are many kinds of birds I don’t know the names of.
And there is many species of the crocodile type.
This is a big one.
There are so many animals in the zoo located in three big domes that we just had time to see a fraction of them so this is a place we will have to come back to another time. It was a hot summer day and the temperature outside was almost as inside and we did experience that maybe next time we go in the winter or just a day where the temperature outside is cooler. We do love the zoo and it is a complete new experience if you like to visit zoos and see animals. there are three domes with Africa, Asia and South America animals.
