Professor B’s September 16 Vintages Release Recommendations

Wine tasting
Wine tasting

Ontario wines are the feature of this release. Several white wines from Closson Chase, Creekside and 2027 Cellars stand out.

The sparkling wine from 2027 Cellars can compete with the best from anywhere.
The wines featured from south-western Ontario lack acidity.

The sherry manzanilla pasada tastes better than most manzanillas that I tasted to date.
Pur Plaisir Malbec from Cahors in south-western France is an absolute delight to pair with hearty stews, grilled game or beef, or country terrines.
