Generally, Vintages releases offer more and better tasting Argentinean wines. This release offers a few unremarkable white and red wines from Argentina, despite the advertisement that it features Argentine is the featured country, along with emerging European wine producers.
Emerging European wines on offer are from Croatia, Bulgaria, Greece, Armenia and Georgia. Strictly speaking, Armenia and Georgia are located in Asia, but how Vintages management managed to place both in Europe is a mystery!
The only red wine that stood out is from Armenia and which an Argentine winemaker made helped by Michel Rolland, the world famous flying wine consultant from Bordeaux.
My recommendations follow.
